Finde die Bindung Super, das Rein und Raus aus der Bindung ist eine kleine Umgewöhnung aber dann geht es leicht, die Entriegelung hinten mit der Schlaufe ist ein echtes Plus gegenüber anderen denke ich da es erstens weiter oben ist und zweitens die Bewegung die Gleiche ist (Entriegelung nach oben, Fuß nach oben), die Stabilität der Bindung ist auch sehr gut, habe kein Speil in der Verriegelung gespürt und zum Schuh hin kann man ja prima nachratschen. Man muss nur aufpassen, denn mir ist es passiert das ich vorne zu eng gemacht habe was dann das Einsteigen erschwert hat, was aber unter den Punkt Eingewöhnung fällt. Weiteres Plus ist das die Bindung mit allen Schuhen geht

What can I say??? In my opinion, it's the best on the market! I never thought I would switch from a normal ratchet binding. But since 2024, I’ve had the Freedom on my board, and I wouldn’t want to miss it. At 15 years old, I wouldn't have cared, but after 30 years of snowboarding, this binding is perfect now that I'm in my mid-40s. I don't rock the park anymore, but I can easily imagine that (apart from the heavier weight when carrying the board) you wouldn't lose any performance there either. Stepping in when you're in the pow is a bit tricky from time to time, but you get used to it. When bombing down the slopes, I don't notice any difference compared to a Union Force or a Burton Cartel. But I definitely notice it when stepping in!!! Great design! Love it!

Been riding ratchet bindings for 20+ years. Mostly Union Atlas and Burton Cartels. Switched to CLEW last winter. the ride feels just as good as my old setups. Zero complaints there!! If I had to pick one thing, I'd say the toe strap could be a little tighter. But that's a really small detail.
The handle placement on the highback is perfect though. And stepping in and out at the lift is sooo easy. I just cruise past everyone who's still sitting down strapping in 😂 It's actually crazy how well it works!! WELLL DONE!

I've been running Clew bindings for several years now (about 100 days a year) and never looked back. The entry system is genuinely fast and easy — not the usual brochure promise: you clip in standing up and go, no sitting in the snow fighting with straps.

The new Indepedence is another step forward. Reactive when you need it, solid on long days, and the build holds up to real use, not two runs and done.

If you're on the fence: worth the money. Recommended.

I’ve had two models of Clew bindings, and both times I've had that "wait, how did they make it even better?" moment. Clew actually listens to riders when they build these things, and honestly, that's rare and it matters. The step-in, step-out design alone is worth writing home about it's ridiculously handy.

But my real ride-or-die feature? These bindings work in ALL conditions. Even on a deep powder day when the mechanism's piled with snow, it doesn't affect function! I never had to meticulously clean it out. It just works, every time, no drama.

I'm already counting down the days to get back out there this season if you're on the fence, just go for it. You will not be disappointed. These are 100% worth the investment.

I've been riding Clew since the early days of the Freedoms and the independence took everything | loved about the freedoms and made them even better and then some. I put 30 days on my Independence bindings this season and took them in every condition imaginable.
From Summer slush days at Mt Hood, deep powder days up in Canada and frozen icy conditions at Big Sky or even in Austria. You name it, the bindings functioned perfectly for me and rode so well. You've got better damping, much more comfortable under foot all day, they've made the straps much much better performance and comfort wise, the new 3 stage locking system holds perfect and goes in much smoother and easier, the weight savings is definitely noticeable underfoot and on board, and they just ride better. They've got a playful but still aggressive feel. I LOVE these snowboard bindings and have definitely been spoiled being able to step into my board right off the lift or from a skate across a run. Hands down they made my favorite bindings even better and I cannot stress enough how much I love the Independence. If you've been on the fence about CLEW, this is the upgrade you've been waiting for to push you over the edge.

I’m really happy with my CLEW bindings. Getting in and out is incredibly quick and easy, and they work perfectly. I can highly recommend them! Since I got these bindings, I’ve been looking forward to snowboarding even more.

Riding with The Clew was really fun, no major hold ups any more when leaving the chairlift.
Using your standard boots is for me a big plus. you don't have to get a pair of brand new boots that are much more stiff then what I am used to ride. It took me some practice to get into the bindings at first, but after a few slopes it got easier. During the day you get used to having the heelthingy strapped on all the time, but as soon as you leave the slopes to go back home, just let it sit in the bindings :D

It's a wonderfull product. CLEW change my life !!!!

Ich fahre die Bindung jetzt schon eine ganze Weile und hatte auch das Modell davor und ich bin einfach mega zufrieden! Für mich kommt mittlerweile keine andere Bindung mehr infrage. Das System ist einfach ein absoluter Gamechanger – kein Hinsetzen mehr, keine Ratschen, einfach einklicken!

Ich werde häufig am Lift auf die Bindung angesprochen und empfehle sie wirklich jedem weiter, der neugierig ist. Sobald man sie einmal ausprobiert hat, will man eigentlich nichts anderes mehr fahren. Sie funktioniert super zuverlässig, ist bequem und macht das Snowboarden einfach noch entspannter. Ich würde sie jederzeit wieder kaufen!

War am Anfang ehrlich gesagt schon skeptisch, weil ich immer normale Ratschenbindungen gefahren bin!! seit über 14 Jahren! Aber nach ein paar Tagen mit CLEW will man nicht mehr zurück! soo geil am Lift!! Der Komfort und wie schnell man wieder auf dem Board steht, ist einfach brutal! Macht wieter so! LG aus Laax!

I've ridden these bindings several times now, and they've exceeded my expectations. They offer a great mix of comfort and responsiveness. So far, I haven't experienced any issues, and I'm very happy with my purchase.

I've read a lot of reviews in the internet about Clews and some snowboarders are still hating on this bindings. I think we should just appreciate the innovation on this system. Personally, this bindings changed everything on my snowboarding day. The convenience of getting in and out of the bindings with minimal strain on the back. As a 40 year old snowboarder this helps a lot. Please continue improving this system with better durability as this is the only negative comment I could give. I think the build quality is good but it could be better.

Great grip while stepping in and out is a great relief. I enjoyed it tremendously.

At the beginning it was a bit difficult to get my foot into the binding directly after the chairlift. A few attempts and you managed it well and it was much more fun and saved a lot of time compared to usual. I am very satisfied with the binding, because not only the function is great, but also the quality

I’ve been riding these bindings for a while now, and honestly, they’ve completely changed the experience. The quick step-in/step-out system is the main reason I bought them, and it works exactly as advertised. Getting in and out is incredibly fast, especially on lifts or when you need to stop for a short break.

The bindings feel solid and secure on the board. I was a bit skeptical about durability at first, but after multiple days on the mountain they’ve been flawless. No unexpected releases, no rattles, and everything still feels tight.

Comfort is also excellent. Once adjusted properly, they hold the boot really well without creating pressure points. Power transfer is great, and I never felt like I was sacrificing performance for convenience.

They’re definitely more expensive than traditional bindings, but for me the convenience is absolutely worth it. If you ride regularly and want to spend more time snowboarding and less time sitting in the snow strapping in, I can highly recommend them. Five stars.

Einfache handhabung schnelles klick-in

I owned a pair of CLEW Freedom and I really loved them. They had only a few small issues that I could live with. Seeing the updates and the engineering behind Independence made me love them even more. Noticably lighter, better quality, better locking system and no issues at all. I don't get much snow days where I live so maximizing each moment on the mountain makes it so much easier.

What an amazing product. These bindings really changed my snowboarding experience. It was so much quicker to get going compared to my old Burton bindings. My best buy of 2025 by a long way.

I’ve been using the CLEW Independence Black bindings for a while now, and I’m really impressed. The step-in/step-out system is incredibly convenient and makes getting on and off the lift much faster. The bindings feel solid, secure, and comfortable, even during long days on the mountain. Installation was straightforward, and the quality is excellent. They give great support while still being easy to use. Definitely one of the best upgrades I’ve made to my snowboard setup. Highly recommended!

Ich bin von der Bindung absolut überzeugt. Das Ein- und Aussteigen funktioniert extrem schnell und unkompliziert, was besonders auf der Piste oder am Lift einen echten Unterschied macht. Kann ich nur empfehlen!
